Our Instructors & Staff Members
Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Tang Soo
Do and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify
them as teachers and also mentors.
Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our
staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill
and passing it on to their students. Here are a few of Cutting Edge Karate's
instructors and other staff members:
Brandon Kemmer (4th Dan Black Belt)
Master K. (as he's known here at the studio) is the owner/chief instructor at Cutting Edge.
He started training in Tang Soo Do in 1990 at the age of 6. He received his Black Belt in
November of 1994. In June of 2004, Mr. K. received his 2nd Dan Black Belt and in July of 2007 he received his 3rd
Dan Black Belt. He received his 4th Dan Master Black Belt in July of 2011. Along with Mr. Wierman, Mr. K. designed and teaches the MATRIX (Martial Arts
Tricks) program here at the studio.

Daniel Wierman (2nd Dan Black Belt)
Mr. Wierman is one of our head instructors at Cutting Edge Karate. He is one of
Master Kemmer's most talented students and received his 2nd Dan black belt in July 2010.
Along with Master Kemmer, Mr. Wierman designed our MATRIX (Martial Arts
Tricks) program. He also teaches for Gold's Gym and in our after-school program.
Jackie Lewis (2nd Dan Black Belt)
Miss Lewis is one of our head instructors and Lil' Dragons instructors. She received her 2nd Dan black belt in March 2010. She
is a very talented instructor who has an excellent ability to work with young children. She has a passion for competing and
participates in every tournament that is available in the area.
She is currently going to college at CSUN and also teaches in our after-school program.
Becky Free (2nd Dan Black Belt)
Miss Free is one of our head instrucotrs and Lil' Dragons instructors. She received her 2nd Dan black belt in November 2009. She
has a high energy personality and it shows in her teaching. She started her own karate program for home school students in 2009.
She is planning on continuing her education at Masters College.
